The Muthoot Group is committed to the cause of providing quality healthcare facilities to the underserved and unreached sections of the society. Project Snehasraya is one such effort in this direction. Through this healthcare outreach programme, the Group provides fully-equipped Mobile Healthcare Labs which travel across villages, rural and semi-urban areas in Kerala and Tamil Nadu to conduct free-of-cost check-ups for the purpose of prevention and early detection of renal diseases, diabetes and hypertension. At the end of the camp, an awareness session is conducted to educate the masses on the prevention and treatment of the disease. Till date, over 56,000 people have benefitted and more than 500 camps organised. The project is now expanding to other states in North India including Delhi-NCR.
