Under the CSR initiative of Muthoot Finance, a Muthoot Smart Classroom was inaugurated at Primary School Patkapur, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh on 10th August 24.

The inauguration was done by Mr. Dilip Kumar, Manager- CSR, Muthoot Finance in the presence of Dr. Rachna Singh, District SRG Member; Mr. Ganesh Prasad, Block ARP Member; Mr. Prabhakar Pandey, School Principal; Mr. Vivek Kumar Rathore, Cluster Manager- Muthoot Finance; Mr. Vishal Srivastava, RMH- Muthoot Finance; Mr. Ramesh Yadav, Village Sarpanch and more than 100 people (Including school children, staff, dignitaries and villagers).

Under this project, a classroom was set up with room painting, aluminum glass doors and windows, 16 student desks, 1 teacher table, 1 revolving chair, 4 ceiling fans, 1 white board and 1 smart LED TV were donated.

This initiative will promote digital education and improve the quality of education in rural areas. Smart classrooms will create an advanced learning environment that integrates technology, connectivity and innovative pedagogy to enhance student engagement, collaboration and academic achievement. The use of digital technology will have a positive impact on the lives of children.

More than 70 rural children will benefit from this initiative.

As part of the green initiative, some saplings were also planted in the school premises.
