To commemorate of 4^th Remembrance Day of our beloved Group Chairman Late Shri M. G. George Muthoot, Under the CSR Initiative of Muthoot Finance, 4 Hand-Operated Electric  Sewing Machines were handed over to impoverished and underprivileged women in the Dunlop and Dakineshwar areas of Kolkata.

In celebration of International Women’s Day on 8^th March 25, the distribution was done by Mr. Abdul Wahid, Senior Regional Manager Kolkata in presence of Mr. Sandip Kumar Chakraburty, DRM Kolkata, Mr. Chitresh Bhattacharya, Manager CSR East, Mrs. Antra Ghosh Sharma, Director of Sharani NGO, and other Kolkata RO Staff and dignitaries.

This initiative will be of great help to 4 poor and underprivileged women families and will enhance their tailoring based skills, leading to economic empowerment, self-reliance, income generation and poverty reduction.
