Under the CSR initiative of Muthoot Finance, 500 school bags were donated to street and slum children in various slum areas of Mumbai, Maharashtra on 30th August 24.

The distribution was done by Mr. Sonu Gaund, CSR Manager- Muthoot Finance in the presence of Mr. Rajan Gupta, Head of Maharashtra Employee Union; Mr. Amit, Secretary of Prerna Pratishtha NGO’ Mr. Rajeev Tripathi, SEO, and other Muthoot staff, children, parents and dignitaries.

The distribution was done in various slum areas of Mumbai such as Malad, Charkop, Dahisar and Sakinaka, etc.

All children are accustomed to carrying their study materials in plastic bags.

This initiative will be very helpful and will assist 500 street and slum children in their education. This will have a significant impact on the lives of these underprivileged children and will also support an eco-friendly environment by converting plastic bags into properly recycled school bags.

The students were very happy after receiving the educational kit. The dignitaries present there thanked and appreciated Muthoot Finance for this genuine support.
