The Muthoot Group has been extending its support towards the education of underprivileged school children by awarding scholarships to 10^th Standard toppers from government schools in the states of Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Last year, 600 students benefitted through this initiative. This year, the Group plans to reach 1,000 government schools from Kerala and 400 schools each in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The Scholarship Awards comprise a citation and cash prize of Rs. 3,000 each.
